Protection of athletes’ health and safety

Promotion of ethical sporting values
-
Education and awareness for players and officials

Testing may be conducted randomly or based on selection criteria determined by authorized bodies.
-
All players participating in national and international events under PFDF are required to comply with anti-doping rules.
-
Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or disqualification.
Education and Awareness
PFDF will also focus on educating athletes, coaches, and team officials about:
-
The Prohibited List issued annually by WADA
-
Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs)
-
Risks of supplements and contaminated products
-
Procedures and rights during doping control
The federation encourages all athletes to take personal responsibility for what they consume and to maintain transparency in their sporting activities.
Strengthening International Standards in Pakistan
By adopting WFDF’s Anti-Doping Regulations, PFDF further strengthens its governance structure and aligns Pakistan’s Flying Disc community with internationally recognized standards. This step reflects PFDF’s dedication to building a credible, transparent, and globally respected sports federation.
